College Roundup : Pacific Beats Fullerton in Volleyball

Mary Miller had seven kills to help the University of the Pacific women’s volleyball team to a 15-5, 15-3, 15-4 Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. victory over Cal State Fullerton Monday at Fullerton.
Pacific (13-1, 24-3), ranked No. 3 in the nation, needed just 45 minutes to defeat Fullerton, which has yet to win a PCAA game in 14 attempts.
Fullerton’s Susan Herman had five kills.
In women’s soccer:
Chapman 6, University of Redlands 0--Barbara Strit and Wendy Kaleiwahea scored two goals each for Chapman College at Redlands.
Susie Brown and Debbie Stuart also scored for the Panthers (6-11-1), who ended their season with a school-record fourth straight victory. Goalies Teri Schaub and Gina DeMarco combined on the shutout.
