A former airman accused of trying to pass military secrets to the Soviet Union has been released on $200,000 bail. Allen John Davies, 33, of San Jose was ordered to live with his parents in Cupertino and report to federal probation officers daily. Davies’ parents put up their home, cash and securities to post his bail. He was arrested Oct. 27 on charges of attempting to pass classified information to a spy, actually a federal agent posing as a Soviet.
