Chula Vista, Calif.-based Rohr Industries Inc. posted a 4% increase in sales for the fiscal 1987 first quarter, compared to the like period in 1986. Operating profit was 10%, compared to 12.3% last year. Fully diluted earnings per share for the quarter were down 19 cents from the previous year mostly due to less interest income and higher interest expense, plus changes in accounting requirements that resulted in an additional 6 cents reduction in earnings per share.
