Irvine-based Lusk Co. has been named “Builder of the Year” by the Riverside County region of the Building Industry Assn. of Southern California.
Lusk broke ground last month on its first Riverside County project, the $700-million Menifee Village. The 1,977-acre mixed-use development will eventually contain 6,000 homes and apartments, as well as commercial and industrial space.
Construction on its second Riverside project, a master-planned community called Highlander, will begin next month. The company is already involved in several commercial and industrial projects in other parts of the Inland Empire, including the $1-billion California Commerce Center in Ontario.
