Gonzaga’s Women Rally to Beat USD

SAN DIEGO — Gonzaga shot nearly 54% from the field to overcome a three-point halftime deficit and beat the University of San Diego, 64-60, in a nonconference women’s basketball game Monday.
Guard Tammy Tibbles scored 29 points to lead Gonzaga. Julie Evans and Chris Burke scored 12 points each to pace USD (5-7). The Toreros play host to Texas El Paso Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
