Job Recruiters Plan to Expand Across Nation
- Share via
A Santa Ana-based recruiting-services company has expanded its “help wanted” television broadcasts to San Francisco and expects to have programs in Boston and in New Haven, Conn., later this year.
VideoSearch began broadcasting half-hour segments last year in Orange and Los Angeles counties. The shows feature interviews with executives who describe job openings at their companies. Viewers are then given numbers to call for further information on the jobs listed.
The companies discussing their hiring needs pay for the costs of the broadcast. In Los Angeles, broadcast time on the program costs $800 a minute; in San Francisco, broadcast time costs about $480 minute. The program typically is broadcast on Sunday evenings.
