The Monkees’ Mickey Dolenz is a detective whose partner is murdered. Fashion designer Edward Albert and assistant Gloria Loring are the main suspects in an upcoming “Mike Hammer”. . . . Roger Moore is back as James Bond--almost. Moore will host an ABC special to be shot in London next month on the 25th anniversary of James Bond films. The show will air next summer and will guest-star Timothy Dalton, Moore’s successor as agent 007, on location filming his Bond debut, “The Living Daylights” . . . . Randall Kleiser will produce and William Phelps direct a romantic drama for Finnegan Associates entitled “The North Shore,” which shoots in Hawaii next month. They are looking for an 18-year-old male surfer who can act or an actor who can surf . . . . Gene Hackman plays a journalist modeled after Ernest Hemingway in “Across the River and Into the Trees.” John Frankenheimer directs. To shoot in Venice, Italy, in March.
