Calendar’s cover feature on the movies coming in 1987 was a kick (“Teasers: The Movies of ‘87,” by Pat H. Broeske and David Pecchia, Jan. 11). With it you proved three things:

The film industry is thriving in productions.

When the next installment of “Jaws” unfolds, Arnold Schwarzenegger or Sylvester Stallone will likely be cast in the lead role.

The only singing actress worth a hoot today will be on the screen in 1987. Whether she sings or not in “Nuts,” I am looking forward to this Barbra Streisand film.
