A Super Day Predicted for THE Game

Southern California skies may be cloudy today and there could even be a shower or two in the mountains, but federal and private forecasters agreed that the sun will be shining again--and temperatures rising--by Super Bowl Sunday in Pasadena.
“Looks good,” said Cary Schudy of Earth Environment Service, a private weather service based in San Francisco. “No clouds to speak of and a little warmer, maybe in the low 70s by game time.”
National Weather Service forecasters agreed, explaining that a weak cold front should be passing through Southern California this morning, accompanied by coastal temperatures in the low to mid-60s and a chance of snow at mountain resort levels above 5,000 feet.
But skies should be clearing by this afternoon, meteorologists said.
