STILL VERY ROCKY

Are you ready for . . . “Rocky V”?!
This after Sly Stallone has been saying repeatedly that Rocky Balboa had had his day. Remember way back when? Said Stallone, perhaps still punchy from “Rockys I-IV”: “What am I gonna do? Fight E.T.?”
His possible change of mind was revealed in recent interviews with some foreign journalists, to hype “Over the Top” (opening Feb. 13). Of course, Stallone stressed, he’s got to come up with a worthy adversary.
(Steven Spielberg probably would be reluctant to allow E.T. into the ring.)
But first, “Rambo III.” Filming begins in late February. The storyline finds Rambo battling Russians in Afghanistan. (No word on whether Stallone is considering a script change, since the real Russkies are talking about leaving Afghanistan.)
Next, in September or October, an adventure film--the first of his 10-picture gig with United Artists.
Also on the boards: “Cobra II,” to film a year and a half to two years from now, and a buddy picture with Eddie Murphy, said the Sly one.
Speaking of action, Chuck Norris says he may follow “Missing in Action III” (which begins shooting in the Philippines in a week) with “a full-blown martial arts epic.”
A script is in the works, said Norris, explaining that he’d like to do something “along the lines of ‘Enter the Dragon.’ ”
But, Outtakes reminded, a few films back, he stressed that he wanted to forgo his chop-sockey past.
“The thing is,” said Norris, “it’s been almost 15 years since ‘Enter the Dragon.’ So I think the timing would be right for a big martial-arts movie. And heck, I’m in the best shape I’ve ever been in.
“So I figure, why not do one--and go for a classic of its kind?”
