Pacific Telesis Group of San Francisco appointed Richard J. Calloway, 50, to the new Pacific Bell post of vice president-service order administration. Calloway at present is president and chief executive of PacTel Communications Cos. Replacing Calloway at PacTel is Gil L. Sheffield, 57, now executive vice president and chief operating officer of PacTel Corp. Philip J. Quigley, 44, presently president and chief executive of PacTel Personnel Communications Cos., will fill Shefield’s position at PacTel Corp. and Roger D. Linquist, 48, vice president and treasurer of Pacific Telesis Group, will replace Quigley.
