Mark S. Mahany, formerly actuarial director for Transamerica Life Companies, has been promoted to vice president and chief administrative officer at Transamerica Assurance Co. in Irvine.
In his new position, Mahany will be responsible for underwriting, policy issue and claims. He will also oversee the company’s accounting divisions.
Transamerica Assurance Co. specializes in payroll deduction distribution.
