Magma Power Co., Los Angeles, said President and CEO A.W. Hoch has been named chairman, and that it has asked Dow Chemical, a principal stockholder, to conduct the search for Hoch’s successor.
As chairman, Hoch succeeds B. C. McCabe Sr., who was named chairman emeritus. At the same time, J. W. Aidlin resigned as a director, vice president and secretary of the company, which is involved in geothermal energy exploration.
