A Garden Grove man was arrested Tuesday in Santa Ana after a chase by Garden Grove police, who had been seeking him all night on suspicion of armed robbery and assault, police said.
David J. Henson, 32, was captured at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at Memory Lane and Bristol Street, Garden Grove Police Lt. Ken Whitman said.
Whitman said police had been searching for a man who had assaulted a woman in her Garden Grove apartment near Laurel Street and Trask Avenue about 11:30 p.m. Monday. The man had threatened the woman with a barbecue fork, robbed her of $9, and later made several threatening phone calls to the victim, Whitman said.
Henson was booked in the Orange County Jail on suspicion of armed robbery and assault and battery.
