Bruce Hurst, the Boston Red Sox left-hander who won two games in the 1986 World Series, has re-injured the groin muscle that cost him six weeks of the regular season last year.
Hurst abandoned his first spring-training start at Winter Haven, Fla., after 38 pitches. After spending some time in the training room, he left the stadium without comment.
