Swiss to Triple Funds for Anti-AIDS Fight

BERN, Switzerland — This country, which has Europe’s highest per capita rate of reported AIDS cases, plans to triple funds for an information and prevention campaign to battle the killer disease this year.
Chief government spokesman Achille Casanova told a news conference Wednesday that the Federal Council has approved additional funds of $5.49 million for its prevention campaign.
