Tip Leads to Man Wanted in Car Death

Acting on an anonymous telephone tip, police arrested a manslaughter suspect who had failed to appear in court last year after recovering from injuries he suffered in a traffic accident that killed a 26-year-old woman, authorities said Thursday.
Borzoi Bahrami, 21, of Huntington Beach was arrested at a Costa Mesa motel Tuesday night on a warrant charging him with failing to appear last May for arraignment on charges of manslaughter and felony driving under the influence. The charges grew out of a Jan. 1, 1986, traffic accident at Atlanta Avenue and Newland Street in Huntington Beach in which Bahrami’s car collided with one driven by Debra Harvey, who was thrown from her car and killed.
