Two Reagans?
There you go again. On the front page of The Times (April 19) is a photo of the Easter bunny, President Reagan, with a big smile, wearing a sweat shirt, and best of all, hugging a 12-year-old child, Rocky Romero, one of many at a camp for children suffering from cancer.
Is this the same man who has proposed cutting or eliminating such programs as health professions education, women, infants, and children food programs, child nutrition, Aid to Families with Dependent Children, Indian health care, veterans’ medical care, and so on.
Surely you are not showing us the same person? Or is he two people? One for the front-page photos, and one for the back-page realities.
