Alhambra : YMCA Complex Planned

The West San Gabriel Valley YMCA has begun a campaign to raise $2.5 million to construct a recreational complex next to Almansor Court, the golf course clubhouse at Almansor Park.
The 38,000-square-foot building will include a gymnasium, four racquetball courts, a swimming pool, fitness rooms, lockers and other facilities. The complex will cost $3.5 million, but will be partially financed from the sale of the old YMCA building at Almansor and Main streets.
