Costa Mesa : Group Donates $10,000 to Aid College Programs

Officials of Orange Coast College’s Foundation have announced gifts totaling $10,000 for five programs on the community college campus.
The foundation singled out the school’s marine mammals research project, its child-care center, the theater arts department, the construction technology department and the football team as recipients of $2,000 each.
According to campus spokesmen, the gifts will be used to aid marine mammal researchers, to purchase new equipment for the child-care center, theater and construction departments and to purchase 20 new helmets for the football team.
