Corbett’s Hitting, Pitching Pace Buckley

Kevin Corbett’s two-run single in the sixth inning broke a 2-2 tie as Buckley High defeated Bel-Air Prep, 5-2, in a Delphic League game Wednesday.
Corbett drove in Jason Weisstein and James Tweddie, who had singled and walked, respectively, to begin the inning. Corbett then stole second and scored Buckley’s final run on Rory Cypers single.
Corbett also pitched well, retiring the side in order in every inning but the third, when he gave up two runs on two walks, a single and a double.
