Cruz in the Cross Hairs

The most galling notes of the article are Cruz’s gratuitous insults directed toward Americans who “jet down to Managua and scurry about experiencing Nicaragua as an intellectual Disneyland.” I can understand that anyone who keeps company with Oliver North and associates would prefer that U.S. citizens stay at home and get their information through official channels. Fortunately, Nicaragua is not as inaccessible as Vietnam. Perhaps that will turn out to be the critical difference that will prevent a repetition of recent history.
