OVER THE ‘EDGE’

All of us at “River’s Edge” read McKenna’s long feature with obvious pleasure. It would have been even nicer had the piece managed to include a mention of the film’s producers, Midge Sanford and Sarah Pillsbury.
As “Desperately Seeking Susan” showed, these are some producers--and it was through their excellent efforts that “River’s Edge” was made at all.
Anyway, as Sarah points out--if the script had just “floated around Hollywood for three years,” as the article stated, how come they had to pay so many messenger bills?
