AF Successfully Tests Medium-Range Missile

WASHINGTON — The Air Force said Friday that an F-15 jet fighter successfully test-fired an advanced medium-range air-to-air missile while engaged in the type of maneuver that would mark aerial dogfighting.
The test occurred May 22 over the Gulf of Mexico near Eglin Air Force Base, Fla.
