Professor Named to Panel: Barbara Stone, a political science professor at Cal State Fullerton, was named by Gov. George Deukmejian on Tuesday to the Little Hoover Commission. Stone, 44, a Republican, replaces Jean Walker of Modesto on the panel, formally known as the California State Government Organization and Economy Commission. Walker’s term expired. Stone’s term will end Jan. 1, 1990. Commission members are compensated for expenses.
