CINEMA CHARITY

I’ll admit I was taken aback by the film clip and the collection cans being passed around in a neighborhood theater recently (Calendar Letters, July 12).

But after thinking about it, I believe anyone who can afford the price of admission to a movie these days can certainly afford some spare change for the less fortunate.
