Foreigner Would Sell
I read with interest the article by Evelyn De Wolfe (June 28) concerning foreigners buying property for the long haul.
I am one of the foreigner (Japanese) clients of Mr. Edward Carroll, the realtor involved in the story. While it is true that I buy for the long haul, I, like many other sellers, will always sell if I get my price.
I have confidence in the future of American real estate and will continue to purchase Southern California properties as a good, sound real estate investment. However, if Mr. Carroll wants to resell my property at a profit, please advise him I am ready to sell.
