Regarding Nancy Lowrie’s appraisal (Viewers’ Views, July 12) of “The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd” as a half hour reserved for her dish washing, please let me pass on my thoughts. “Molly Dodd” is for me an oasis. From the hauntingly brilliant, layered acting of Blair Brown, I feel as if I’ve been drawn into the life of someone I really care about. The pace at which it unfolds is perfect and real, and I, for one, look forward each week to this beautifully crafted, poignant half hour. And so, Ms. Lowrie, you do your dishes and dream of the Venus Butterfly (on “L.A. Law”), and I’ll join wonderful Molly Dodd as she makes it through her days and nights.
