This is in response to William S. Koester’s opinion on “A Star-Spangled Celebration” (Viewers’ Views, July 19) which referred to “mindless teen-agers”: I think this was rude and insulting. If he thinks we’re mindless teen-agers, he’s wrong. We appreciate the talents like Fred Astaire and Jackie Gleason, but we also have great talents of our own era like Bruce Springsteen and Tom Cruise.
