Bomb blasts at two resort hotels in eastern Tunisia injured 12 Italian and British tourists and a Tunisian hotel employee, the Interior Ministry in Tunis said. The most seriously injured, a 28-year-old Scottish woman, had a foot amputated at a hospital. Bombs also exploded at two other Tunisian hotels, but no injuries were reported. No one claimed responsibility for the attacks, but Muslim fundamentalist groups that have been under investigation by police for several months were suspected.
