Gun Rampage Death Toll Hits 16

HUNGERFORD, England — The death toll rose to 16 today with the deaths of two more victims of the shooting rampage in this English country town where a gunman calmly walked through streets spraying bullets everywhere before taking his own life.
Myrtle Gibbs, 63, and Ian Playle, 34, died of gunshot wounds and were the latest fatal victims of mass murderer Michael Ryan, Thames Valley police said. Thirteen other shooting victims remained hospitalized.
