Bobby Johnson, the New York Giants’ most productive wide receiver last season, was traded to the San Diego Chargers for a draft choice.
Johnson, who joined the Giants as a free agent from Kansas in 1984, had 31 receptions in l986. In three seasons with the team, he caught 112 passes for 1,862 yards and 20 touchdowns.
