Women’s Group to Honor Nine for Work

Nine women will be honored for their contributions to the advancement of the status of women at the Women of Achievement luncheon of Women For: at noon Sept. 16 in the Crystal Room of the Beverly Hills Hotel.
Honorees will be attorney Gloria Allred; Jo Caines, director of community relations, KOCE-TV; actress Susan Clark; Laura Lake, professor, UCLA School of Public Health; cinematographer Brianne Murphy; businesswoman Laura Balverde-Sanchez; consumer specialist Sylvia M. Siegel; children’s advocate Stacey Winkler; and theatrical producer Peg Yorkin.
