R.H. Estates : New Sweeping Schedule Set

The City Council has authorized South Bay Sweeping Co. to change the city’s street-sweeping schedule from eight half-days to four full days per month.
Streets west of Crenshaw Boulevard will now be swept on the first and third Monday and areas east of Crenshaw will be swept on the first and third Tuesday.
South Bay Sweeping requested the changes to cut costs. In exchange, the company agreed to withdraw a request for additional city funding of $140 per month to cover rising expenses.
