Eastman Kodak of Rochester, N.Y., said it will soon file an application with the Food and Drug Administration for approval to begin clinical studies on a new test developed by Cellular Products Inc. of Buffalo, N.Y., that can simultaneously detect the antibodies to HIV (the causative agent of AIDS) and HTLV-1 (the agent associated with adult T-cell leukemia/lymphoma).
