Australia Welcomes U.S. Ruling on Beef

CANBERRA, Australia — The Australian government Friday welcomed a decision by the United States to allow the import of Australian beef after talks in Washington between the two countries.
The United States had blocked Australian beef from entering the country after unacceptably high levels of pesticide were found in samples taken at random Aug. 15.
