The cancellation of the new “Twilight Zone” makes one wonder why the show was done the way it was. The remake was fancied up by state-of-the-art sound, color photography and beautiful women. However, unlike the original half-hour TZ, the new TZ was an hour program consisting of two or three segments with scripts that were devoid of any social comment, and a very lethargic narrator who sounded nothing like Rod Serling either in voice or in spirit.
