Rep. Dornan and Heckler

I found Congressman Dornan’s (Sept. 6) letter very interesting. While I definitely do not share Dornan’s views on Nicaragua or on much of anything else that comes to mind, I was glad to see that he has apparently carpetbagged into yet another congressional district. Dornan’s letter was signed--”ROBERT K. DORNAN, U.S. Congressman 30th District.”
I remember when Dornan represented the Santa Monica area and lost his bid for reelection. After carpetbagging into Orange County and beating up on Jerry Patterson, I really thought he was still here. It’s good to see that the honorable “outspoken conservative” congressman has moved on--to the 30th District. I am really not quite sure exactly where the 30th is located, but I am sure that it is not in Orange County, and I, for one, am very glad!
