Encinitas YMCA Expansion Slated

A $3.5-million expansion of the North Coast Family YMCA, 200 Saxony Road, Encinitas, will begin at the end of this month.
The 22,000-square-foot addition will provide space for a counseling center, locker rooms, offices, a day-care center and additional exercise space.
San Diego-based Architects/Larson/Carpenter designed the one-story addition to match the Spanish-style architecture of the existing 23,090-square-foot structure.
