Golden West Defeats Grossmont in Volleyball

Golden West College defeated Grossmont, 15-9, in a tiebreaker to win the Santa Barbara Tournament of Champions volleyball tournament at Santa Barbara City College Sunday.
The Rustlers (11-2 and 3-0), No. 1-ranked in the state, defeated No. 2-ranked Grossmont, 18-16, 15-9, 15-8, in the first of two final rounds of the double-elimination tournament. Grossmont defeated Golden West in the second round, 15-6, 15-8, 15-9.
