Point Loma High Retains No. 1 Rank in Poll

SAN DIEGO — Point Loma High School recorded its third shutout in its last four games in a 33-0 victory over Serra last Friday and remains the No. 1-ranked team in The Times’ San Diego County Top 10.
No. 2-ranked Mount Miguel (8-0) shut out Granite Hills, 14-0--its fourth of season.
Mt. Carmel, No. 4, is the county’s only other unbeaten team, defeating No. 7 Vista, 15-14. Vista was ranked No. 1 two weeks ago, but has lost two straight.
