Fidelity National Financial, which moved its title insurance operations to Irvine from Scottsdale, Ariz., last month, posted a $1.5-million profit for the third quarter, a 71% increase over $875,000 earned during the same period last year. Quarterly revenues rose 33% to $26.6 million from $20 million. For the nine months, net income was $4.7 million, a tenfold increase over $409,000 last year. Revenues for the period grew 46% to $70.6 million from $48.5 million.
