HOUSTON — A quadriplegic accused of killing his wife with a gun mounted on his wheelchair by pulling the trigger with a string that led to his mouth has been found dead at home, apparently from natural causes.
The mother of James Byron Burns, 40, checked on him Thursday morning and found he apparently had died in his sleep, relatives said today. Burns had a history of seizures and kidney failure.
