Senate Committee OKs Nomination of Burnley

WASHINGTON — The Senate Commerce Committee approved on Thursday the nomination of James H. Burnley IV as secretary of transportation and sent it to the full Senate for consideration. Burnley has been deputy transportation secretary for four years.
