Egypt’s Papers Boost Prices

CAIRO — Egypt’s daily newspapers will cost about 50% more beginning Saturday because of high costs of imported newsprint, it was reported Thursday. The government-appointed Supreme Press Council said daily newspapers will now sell for about seven cents, up from four cents.
