Man Found Beaten to Death After Apparent Robbery

A man was found beaten to death in his Hollywood apartment Saturday after failing to report to work, police said.
Friends of Terence Fell, 48, a nurse at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, called police after they went to his apartment in the 700 block of North Kings Road and could not get him to answer the door, Detective Russell Kuster said.
Officers broke through the door of Fell’s apartment and found that he had been beaten to death with a blunt object and his body left on the floor of his bedroom, Kuster said.
Fell, a Briton who had been in the United States for more than 15 years, was last seen alive Wednesday about 3 p.m.
Officers believe the killing took place during a robbery because some property had been taken, Kuster said.
