Jet Lands so Police Can Check Suspicious Package

KANSAS CITY — A Continental Airlines jet en route from Denver to New York was diverted to Kansas City International Airport when a suspicious package was found on an empty seat, officials said Saturday. Police checked the package but found no bomb.
