The congressional report on the Iran-Contra affair (Part I, Nov. 19) has focused matters much more clearly.
Sen. Daniel K. Inouye (D-Hawaii) for President, for his principled and thorough stewardship of the investigation reminding us of how this republic must function.
Lt. Col. Oliver North and Rear Adm. John Poindexter to Fort Leavenworth, for the threat they posed to this republic was serious as any spy ring that has operated during this Administration’s watch.
