It is still Thanksgiving down on Dopey Drive in Burbank. Walt Disney Studios nearly cornered the movie going market over the four-day holiday with the number one and number two movies grossing more than $20 million between them. Disney’s “Three Men and a Baby” jumped to the top spot with $13.9 million in 1,006 theaters, for a strong per screen average of $10,322. In its second week in release, the studio’s re-issue of “Cinderella” grossed $7.2 million in 1,657 theaters. Paramount’s “Planes, Trains and Automobiles,” expected by many to be the Christmas movie to beat, had a strong weekend by normal standards--$10.1 million at 1,118 theaters--but its per screen average of $5,940 was far behind the pace of “Three Men and a Baby.”

* “The Last Emperor” is showing early signs of being a huge hit for Columbia Pictures. The Bernardo Bertolucci film grossed $198,000 in six exclusive-run theaters for a per-screen average of a whopping $33,000.
