Twice in the past month I have stopped at the call boxes on the freeways to report in one case debris in the freeway and in another case a stalled car on the Ventura Freeway. In one case the line was busy and in another they put me on hold for what seemed like several minutes as the cars whizzed by. Both of these instances could have resulted in a serious accident. I’m not sure I want to be a “Good Samaritan” again after these experiences.
